It’s the Olive Oil That Makes Wonder Valley So Lux

The wonders of olive oil never cease to amaze …and that’s what the founders of Wonder Valley want you to know. Alison and Jay Carroll founded their small yet mighty business back in 2014, introducing their certified extra virgin grade olive oil skincare products for those wanting plant-based skin and hair care options.

All products feature hand-harvested, olive oil pressed each fall in their Northern California groves, something they’ve been doing since the company’s inception. “We harvest and press our olives when they’re still green, and there’s a higher concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants than if you harvest later. So you’re getting those topically,” Alison Carroll told W Magazine in 2021. “Olive oil is also really rich in vitamin A and E and palmitic acid, so it’s really emollient and skin softening. It has a high concentration of oleic acid, which is the ultimate hydrator, and linoleic acid and squalene, which help strengthen and fortify.”

In addition to their plant-based products, Wonder Valley gives Mother Nature another assist with the majority of their packaging consisting of glass and aluminum, which can be either recycled or upcycled. We bet you’ll wanna hang on to their beautifully designed bottles, though.
