Palm Royale Energy: No Beach Needed

Palm Royale is back, and with it brings a lot of high drama and a ton of high fashion. The Apple TV series starring Kristen Wiig dropped its season two debut this week, and episode one, “Maxine Drinks Martinis Now,” opened with a fabulous, dream-like sequence filled with an over-the-top song and dance number, complete with flashy sequins, mod wigs, and a snazzy little yellow number that literally took center stage.

Palm Beach has always felt a little like a fever dream: sherbet-colored houses, glossy lawns, country clubs, and outfits so polished they almost squeak. With Palm Royale back on our screens, that fantasy gets dialed up to 1969—bouffants, bow-tied blouses, caftans that float by the pool, and handbags that look like they came with a trust fund.

But you don’t need a club membership (or a scandal) to borrow the mood. This Palm Beach Edit is about channeling that sun-drenched, slightly over-the-top resort energy in a way that feels wearable now: vintage caftans instead of costumes, basket bags instead of status logos, and cat-eye sunglasses that do all the talking. Whether you’re chasing winter sun or just daydreaming from your sofa, consider this your shortcut to dressing like you’re on permanent holiday.
